No Longer A Home
Nearly a year after my last month in the Ogre™, it is still solar powered and held together through several winters!
We finally got the Ogre™ towed out of its private hamlet nestled in the tree’s of southern Wisconsin.
The sun was setting, but we managed to combat the weeds that claimed the trailer, fighting our way to the hitch. Of course Murphy had to show his ugly face and made me forget my tools so I could not remove the hookups for the propane tank – luckily ratcheting straps are always readily available to fix any problem!
So now with the Ogre™ in our possession again, we are free to finish the solar water heating system and adding a few upgrades. By now you may be wondering what all of this “we” and “us” is all about. Yours truly got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2012!

Indeed it’s been a long time! Congrats on your engagement! The ogre might be a bit small for two, but maybe you can upgrade to a Hornby Island caravan!
